Small Talk

Jim and I met up with Jennifer & Greg last Monday at one of our favorite beaches in Malibu.  We were able to get in some fun shots before the wind really started coming in from the ocean, but we still had daylight so what were we to do? We hopped in the car and headed to Santa Monica’s 3^rd Street Promenade! We strolled through the alleyways and along the promenade talking about, of all things, the TV show “Bridezilla’s”...which Jennifer tells us she watches regularly!

Last Saturday's wedding with Elise and Ted at the Stagecoach Inn in Newbury Park was so much fun! Every little detail from the sunflowers to the bbq dinner was a perfect match for the Inn. They were such a fun couple, I know they are going to have a great time in Ireland on their honeymoon!

A Day In Venice

Yesterday was the perfect day for an engagement session.  So where do you go in Southern California when it's nice and sunny? Venice Beach!  Trisha and Ryan were so much fun to hang out with, we strolled along the Venice boardwalk, got some ice cream and just had fun with the variety that Venice has to offer.  We then headed to Mugu Rock, this is where Ryan proposed to Trisha....we will let them tell you that story!

Going to the Castle...

Saturday's wedding at The Eagle Castle Winery in Paso Robles with Melissa and Jason was such a fun day! They are such a wonderful couple and everything about the day went just perfectly. The look on Jason's face when Melissa walked down the aisle said it all...it was truly an awesome day!

A Day At The Ranch

Julie and Bret's wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu this past Saturday was such a great day. Julie and Bret are such a wonderful couple and we really enjoyed photographing their special day.... even the ducks came by to congratulate them!

This was a beautiful day for a wedding, perfect weather and a perfect couple!   Brenda and Ignacio were such a great couple to photograph, the way they look at each other just makes it so easy.  Congratulations to Brenda and Ignacio and thank you for letting us be a part of your wonderful day!

Together Forever....

We are soooo excited to photograph Jessica and Freddie's "vampire themed" wedding in October. It is definitely our first vampire themed wedding...but it sounds like it will be so much fun! So for last Friday's engagement session it was important to stick with the theme and we wouldn't have it any other way!

No more fires!

This Saturday's wedding with Bonnie and Brian was truly a great day. Since we first met Brian and Bonnie, I will have to say that they have had quite a year. Despite everything this day was truly meant to be and even though less than a week ago all that was at the mission was fire and ash....the day cleared up making their wedding day absolutely perfect.

Gardens of The World

Yesterday Jim and I photographed Robin and Vanessa for their engagement shoot. They decided that they wanted a shoot that would be unique to them, so we went to Garden's of the World in Thousand Oaks. The landscape at Gardens of The World is so beautiful and diverse that it was a great backdrop for a beautiful couple.

Wedding Day at the Santa Ines Mission

This weekend we photographed Carrie and David's wedding at the beautiful Santa Ines Mission in Solvang. Although the mission itself is an absolutely gorgeous location, the chemistry between Carrie and David made it all the more gorgeous. We had a great time photographing their wedding and hope they have a great honeymoon in Kauai!
